Matt attended the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and obtained a B.A in Bible and Youth Ministry, with an emphasis in Sports. Upon graduation, Matt relocated to Florida where he worked in a variety of golf professional positions at golf clubs throughout South Florida and earned his status as a Class A PGA Professional.



In 2010, Matt relocated to Jacksonville to join FCA staff where he served as FCA Golf’s Director of Camps. Shortly after the birth his first child five years later, Matt had the opportunity to localize his ministry efforts with FCA Golf and focus primarily upon junior golfers, golf coaches and golf professionals across the NE Florida region. Seeing his ministry passion grow to lead every coach and athlete in Northeast Florida into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church, Matt stepped into the role of Northeast Florida Multi-Area Director in December of 2017. Since this transition, Matt has been leading, building and coordinating FCA’s staff and ministry team throughout the Northeast Florida region of Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties.


Matt is married to Karen and is father to Audrey and Wilson. In addition to playing golf, Matt enjoys reading, biking and the beach.

Barb Rohde

Barb Rohde was born and raised in Upstate NY and had the wonderful opportunity of growing up in a Christian home.  At an early age she dedicated her life to serving the Lord with her whole heart.  She is a diligent, hard worker, who has gained a wide array of experiences throughout her lifetime. 

Barb moved to South Carolina with her family, where she met her husband, Aaron.  They were married in 2006.  Barb's husband is a full-time senior pastor and has pastored since 2009.  Together, they have served churches in South Carolina, West Virginia and Illinois.  Barb's life long desire to serve in full-time ministry is being fulfilled by serving God with Aaron.

Barb has 17 years of administrative assistant experience.  She is most fulfilled in serving God by serving others to help them achieve their God given role.  Her chief goal in life is to honor and glorify God in everything because He is always good.

Barb joined the NE Florida FCA staff in July of 2019.  Outside of ministry life, Barb enjoys working in the garden, spending time with family, doing any kind of craft project, playing the piano and baking.  She is passionate about life and living life to the fullest because each day is a gift.  Barb's most recent mission in life is to encourage others that God is always good, and that no matter the circumstances, we can glorify Him for who He is.  Her life verse is Psalm 46:10, "Be still, and know that I am God.  I will be exalted among the nations.  I will be exalted in the earth!"

Milena Ruiz

Milena is originally from Orlando, FL and earned a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from the University of Central Florida. Upon graduating, Milena became the Director of Marketing for Stratos Jets and Central Florida Impatient Medicine where she oversaw all of marketing and communications for each group. Milena relocated to Jacksonville in 2005, to begin her career in professional sports working with the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation as the Communications and Programs Manager. During this time, she also obtained her Masters of Science in Sports Management at the University of Jacksonville.

Milena and her husband Mauricio founded their own non-profit, World Sports United, in 2005, to fill a need for sports equipment in areas of the world where resources are hard to come by. Their non-profit has since flourished and now offers missions trips to college coaches and players all over the world. They both have a heart for the poor and have seen first-hand what the power of sports can do to transform communities through Jesus Christ.

In 2020, Milena joined the FCA team, serving as the Communications Coordinator for northeast Florida.

Milena is married to Mauricio, former Men’s Head Soccer Coach at Jacksonville University and now Manager of Business Development for USLJAX, and is a mother to a baby boy, Maddox. She loves art, skiing, running, traveling, spending time with family and playing soccer.

Dan Meinert

Dan is originally from Grafton WI and earned a BA and MA from of the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.  He was a high school teacher, coach and athletic director for 12 years in Wisconsin.  In 1982, Dan moved to Columbus, Ohio where he did his doctoral studies in athletic administration at The Ohio State University.  In 1984, Dan was named assistant director of athletics for facilities and operations at Ohio State.  In 1989, he was named Senior Associate director of athletics at the University of Minnesota and would serve as the chairman of the 1992 NCAA Men’s Final Four.  In 1994, Dan accepted the position of director of athletics at Western Michigan University.

In 2004, Dan joined the golf staff at the Palencia Club in St. Augustine, FL as Director of Instruction overseeing the Palencia Putting, Short Game, and Golf Psychology Institute.  While serving at Palencia he helped direct the FCA Golf Camp and FCA National Scramble.  In 2013, Dan moved to Alliance NE, where he served as the Executive Director of the Teen Challenge Boy’s Ranch.

Dan joined the Northeast Florida Fellowship of Christian Athletes staff in 2016, serving as Director of Development.  He also enjoys teaching at the Toby Mac FCA Golf Camp in Southern Pines, NC each summer.  Dan is committed to serving the Lord through the ministry of sport, coaches, student-athletes, volunteers and donors!

Dan and his wife Kathy live in Jacksonville, FL and have four children and eight grandchildren.

Andrew Baker

Andrew Baker was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. Andrew served as the Assistant Recreation Minister for 6 years at a church in Knoxville organizing and facilitating adult and youth basketball, soccer, and tennis leagues and camps.  He also served with the church's youth ministry. In 2011, Andrew married the former Emily Williams of Fernandina Beach. Emily graduated from Fernandina Beach High School in 2007 and moved to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee, graduating with a degree in Retail Management. She has owned her own embroidery business since 2014.

Andrew joined the NE Florida FCA staff in April 2012 and is passionate about serving Northeast Florida's coaches and athletes. He has a heart for reaching people for Christ through the world of sports.  Andrew serves in the Nassau and Baker County area, as well as the FCA Baseball program.

Greg Chapman

Greg Chapman is a Northeast Florida FCA Area Representative who is excited to be serving the areas of Duval County east of the St. Johns River.  Greg brings a decade of ministry experience to the Northeast Florida team.  Prior to FCA, Greg served as student pastor at Neptune Baptist Church in Neptune Beach, Florida.  Greg is a proud alum of Fletcher Senior High School.

Following high school, Greg attended Georgia Military College where he played offensive line.  Greg concluded his collegiate career at Valdosta State where he played football and graduated with a degree in History.  After his collegiate playing career, Greg entered the coaching ranks with his first stop as offensive line coach at Georgia Military College.  Greg's other coaching stops included Valdosta, Raines, Ribault and Fletcher High Schools.

John Green

John W. Green Jr. recently retired from a 25-year education career to begin a journey into full-time ministry with FCA Clay County and as a youth minister with the First Family Network. As the principal of Bradford Middle School (Starke, FL) he was selected, entrusted, and trained to be one of the first thirteen school guardians in the state of Florida and directed one of the school's largest learning gains in its history. He is the former Director of Education and Special Projects for Seamark Ranch, a specialized residential school for children from families in crisis and previously the principal of Lakeside Junior High School (Orange Park, FL), named one of the top 75 junior high schools in the state of Florida under his leadership. John is also a national presenter for the Center For Teacher Effectiveness, a global leader in professional development, and was recently invited to and completed the Reinhold Corporation's Clay Leadership Program for rising executive leaders.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Education and a Master of Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida, attending on full academic scholarship. John has been an educator for 25 years, serving as substitute teacher, English and Math teacher, at-risk computer lab coordinator, coach, athletic director, mentor, vice principal, director, and principal. During his teaching years, John was named the Clay County Chamber of Commerce Spotlight Teacher, twice named the Florida Star Conference Coach of the Year, and given the Florida Shriner’s most prestigious honor—“The Standing Tall Award”. John’s students, traditionally at-risk, performed exceptionally well on standardized tests, consistently outperforming other classes with learning gains above 80%.

In addition to training for the Center For Teacher Effectiveness, John has also presented with former NFL great Joe Ehrmann and his “Building Men and Women For Others” organization featured by HBO Real Sports and NFL Films and the subject of a best-selling book by Pulitzer Prize winning author Jeffrey Marx. Based on the principles of Joe’s organization, John created and sponsors a mentoring program for young men in public and private schools called REAL Manhood which earned a Promising Practice Award from the Character Education Partnership in Washington, D.C. and the John and Klare Reinhold Foundation Special Judges Award. This also led him to FCA where at each school he served, he volunteered as that school's huddle leader. Now he ministers in all 14 junior and senior high schools in Clay County with a passion to "make Him known" to and through coaches and their athletes. John and his wife Monica, also a successful school administrator and FCA volunteer, reside in Green Cove Springs, FL with their two children Jackson (15) and Savannah (14).

Jordan Smith

St. Johns County West Area Representative

Jordan was born and raised in Fresno, CA where he fell in love with the sport of track and field. Jordan first felt called to ministry while he was a high jumper for the Fresno State track team. A fellow teammate invited him to the university's FCA huddle and soon later trained him as an FCA student leader. Acknowledging his call to ministry, Jordan transferred to Biola University to study Bible, while also finishing his collegiate track career there. Following college, Jordan interned with a church youth group in Hawaii while also coaching track for multiple high schools on the island of Kauai.

Jordan returned to Fresno following his internship and was contacted by a fellow student leader from his days with FCA at Fresno State. This student encouraged Jordan explaining that he would be a great fit for the ministry. Even though Jordan had his doubts and fears about going into full-time ministry, God clearly called Jordan to FCA in 2016 when he joined FCA in Fresno as an Area Representative working with coaches and athletes from 15 schools throughout the central valley.

In July of 2018, Jordan moved to Jacksonville, FL in preparation of marrying his fiancé, Morgan, in November. Jordan joined the NE Florida FCA staff and is covering the western portion of St. Johns County, ministering to coaches and athletes in the community at 8 area schools.

Scott Olsen

Scott Olson is originally from Western New York. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. 


Scott relocated to Jacksonville for a teaching position at First Coast Christian School. During his eighteen years there he has taught Physical Education and Bible, while also coaching basketball, football and softball. He also served as Athletic Director during three of those years. 


Scott is excited to join FCA full-time in order to get the opportunity to invest into the lives of coaches and athletes and see Christ transform their lives here in Northeast Florida.


Scott is married to Dee, who teaches kindergarten at First Coast Christian School.  Scott also enjoys riding his bike, playing any sport, spending time with Dee traveling, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.

Derek Reeves

Collegiate Ministry Representative

Derek Reeves is the Collegiate Ministry Representative for Northeast Florida FCA. Since joining the team, Derek has been actively launching FCA collegiate ministry on the campuses of University of North Florida, Jacksonville University, Florida State College Jacksonville, Edward Waters University and Trinity Baptist College. 


Derek played football at the University of Central Oklahoma – where he got to use his platform as a Christian Athlete to speak to high school and middle school FCA huddles across Oklahoma. 


Derek has served FCA as a camp huddle leader, a student leader on his campus and as a Marketing Intern. The opportunity to build the collegiate FCA ministry in Jacksonville is a role that he is confident that God led him to based on the FCA experience he has had in the past, and his passion behind collegiate athletes being plugged into community. 


Mabry Burch

Women's Ministry, Baker and Nassau Counties

Mabry was born and raised in Callahan, Florida and has lived in different areas of Northeast Florida as an adult. She attended West Nassau High School, located in the area she will be serving. At WNHS Mabry was a member of the cross-country team and various academic organizations as well as FCA.


Mabry then graduated Magna cum laude from the Honors and Scholars Program at the University of North Florida. She majored in sociology and minored in education. Her professional background is in sales, customer service, and management.


Again residing in Callahan, she and her husband Josh have one son and enjoy spending time outdoors as a family. Josh is a teacher and coach at Yulee High School where the Burches enjoy being a part of the Hornet Family. 


Mabry is most excited to be on staff with FCA so she can watch God transform the lives of female coaches and athletes, and their families. She is eager and honored to be a part of this mission and organization with the goal of seeing lasting and eternal positive change through the power of Jesus Christ.

Chelsea Amos

Chelsea was born & raised until the age of 14 in Keystone Heights, Florida when her family then relocated to Callahan, Florida. She attended West Nassau High School, where she was a member of the ladies basketball team, track & field team, cross-country team, multiple academic organizations and the campus FCA. Chelsea then graduated with high honors from Florida State College at Jacksonville with her degree in Radiography.


Chelsea met her husband, Marty, who is also from Callahan in 2006 and they were married in 2013. They have both served on the worship team from the time they were in high school and remain active participants in this ministry at their church. They have two children Elijah (7) and Cameron (4). Chelsea has spent the past several years fulfilling God’s call on her life to be home with her children before they were of the age to start school. She has spent time throughout these years praying about and asking for wisdom from the Lord in what this next phase of her life would look like as her youngest quickly approached the school years. God made it abundantly clear to her near the end of 2022 that he was calling her to serve with FCA.


Chelsea is excited about living out this newest part of God’s calling on her life through her role of administrative assistant with FCA Nassau & Baker Counties. She prays that God will use her to serve others in ways that only He can do. She is expectant that lives will be changed because of the Gospel message spread through FCA both locally & globally!

Sherry Davidson

Administrative Assistant, Duval River East

Sherry grew up in Dallas, Texas, where she fell in love with the Ballet at a young age. She spent her young years in the world of competitive dance, continuing though college until the birth of her first child, Westen, in 2004. Soon after, he was diagnosed with autism, Sherry's journey of becoming an advocate begin.


God used both experiences to teach her organization, adaptation and a great faith in his will to prepare for her place within FCA.


Psalms 139:5 - "You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!"


Sherry and her husband  Brian moved their family to Jacksonville in 2016 following the Lord's call on them to join a ministry in the area.


Outside of her duties with FCA, she enjoys her family, playing at the beach, and her side gig of helping people organize their homes and businesses to help bring peace in the chaos of the world around them.



Justin Lenamon

Justin Lenamon was born and raised in Texas, graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies. At UMHB, Justin played on the golf and tennis teams, and it’s where he met his wife (Julie), and was called into ministry. Justin and Julie are blessed to have 4 kids at home. In the spring of 2022, Justin and his family answered the call from the Lord to begin the process of moving from Austin, TX, to come and join the NE Florida FCA staff. Justin has been blessed to serve as a part of Team FCA since 2014 and in January 2023 joined the NE Florida team as the St Johns County Area Director. Justin is passionate about serving Coaches and Athletes and seeing them become disciples who make disciples.
