Matt attended the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and obtained a B.A in Bible and Youth Ministry, with an emphasis in Sports. Upon graduation, Matt relocated to Florida where he worked in a variety of golf professional positions at golf clubs throughout South Florida and earned his status as a Class A PGA Professional.

In 2010, Matt relocated to Jacksonville to join FCA staff where he served as  FCA Golf’sDirector of Camps. Shortly after the birth his first child five years later, Matt had the opportunity to localize his ministry efforts with FCA Golf and focus primarily upon junior golfers, golf coaches and golf professionals across the NE Florida region. Seeing his ministry passion grow to lead every coach and athlete in Northeast Florida into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church, Matt stepped into the role of Northeast Florida Multi-Area Director in December of 2017. Since this transition, Matt has been leading, building and coordinating FCA’s staff and ministry team throughout the Northeast Florida region of Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns counties.

Matt is married to Karen and is father to Audrey and Wilson. In addition to playing golf, Matt enjoys reading, biking and the beach.
